Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy governs the terms under which PRIVEQ INVESTECH PRIVATE LIMITED ("Priveq", "Company", "we", "us") processes refund requests in connection with unlisted share transactions facilitated through our platform. Due to the nature of unlisted securities transactions, refund eligibility is subject to the stage and status of the transaction.

2. No Refund After Deal Completion

Once a transaction has been marked as Completed — meaning the deal has been finalized by the Priveq team, payment has been verified, and share transfer has been initiated or confirmed — no refund will be processed. Unlisted share transactions are final upon completion due to the nature of off-market securities transfers.

3. Cancellation Before Payment Submission

If a buy or sell request is cancelled before the user has submitted payment proof (i.e., the deal is in "Pending", "Contacted", "Qualified", or "Negotiation" stage), the request may be cancelled without financial obligation.

If payment has already been transferred by the user but the deal is subsequently cancelled by either party, Priveq will initiate a refund of the transferred amount within 7–10 business days to the original payment source, subject to verification.

4. Platform Facilitation Fees

Any facilitation fee, service fee, or documentation charge collected by Priveq is non-refundable once the service has been partially or fully rendered. This includes situations where the user cancels after our team has commenced deal processing, documentation, or investor matching.

5. Refund Process

To initiate a refund request:

  1. Contact us within 7 calendar days of the disputed transaction at support@priveq.in or call +91 82874 66698
  2. Provide your transaction ID, UTR number (if payment was made), and reason for the refund request
  3. Our team will review the request and respond within 3 business days
  4. Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days via NEFT/IMPS to the account from which payment was made

6. Dispute Resolution

In case of any dispute related to a transaction or refund, users should raise a support ticket via the Help Center or email us directly. Priveq will endeavour to resolve disputes amicably within 14 business days. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to arbitration in Pune, Maharashtra, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

7. Exceptions and Force Majeure

Priveq reserves the right to process or deny refunds at its discretion in cases involving fraud, misrepresentation, regulatory action, or force majeure events. Cases where shares have already been transferred to the buyer's demat account are not eligible for refund under any circumstance.
